This circuit causes a small pilot lamp or a 6 V torch to light up when ambient lighting is interrupted. We suggest using the device with Nicad batteries that will be connected to a permanent slow charger connected between points A and B. The TIP32 transistor must be mounted on a small heat radiator and the adjustment of the sensitivity to the trigger according to the ambient light is done in the trimpot.
