The basis of this project is an integrated 566 (not to be confused with a 556 which is a double 555). The circuit produces rectangular or triangular signals that can be modulated externally from 02. The value of C2 depends on the intensity of the signals, typically between 1 nF and 100 nF. The operating frequency of the circuit that has a maximum limit around 1 MHz is given by the formula next to the diagram. The circuit has a peak output signal of the order of 1 V.
