Here we have a circuit suggested by Texas lnstruments that consists of a receiving stage that has a selective input circuit, receiving, therefore, only a single frequency. The coil and capacitor in parallel (LC) determine the frequency received by the circuit, in a range that goes up to a few megahertz depending on the response of the photo diode used. The power is between 9 and 20 Volts and the transistor can be replaced by equivalents. The capacitor Cx has values in the range of 1 uF to 22 nF depending on the operating frequency range.
