The sampling and retention circuit shown in the figure uses the LM108. In this circuit we have two MOS field effect transistors to switch the signal, charging the voltage at its output, used to excite the voltage follower. At the voltage follower output we have the same voltage that the capacitor is charged for a time determined by the switching or sampling frequency. The capacitor must also be of the plastic dielectric type, with minimal leakage.
