This oscillator can be used to generate sinusoidal signals from less than 1 Hz to close to 20 kHz. It is ideal for musical instruments that can generate damped oscillations (percussion sound). The circuit works with voltages from 6 to 15 V and the frequency depends on R and C, which must maintain the relationships indicated in the diagram. The formula for calculating the frequency of this oscillator is:

f = 1 / (2xπxRxC):

C in farads
