A low voltage heating element (up to 30 V) with a current of up to 3 A can be precisely controlled with the circuit presented here. The setting of the operating point (temperature) is done in the 100k ohms potentiometer. The temperature sensor must be installed in the same location as the heating element. The integrated circuit must be mounted on a heat radiator. The input voltage must be at least 3 V more than the voltage that must be applied to the heating element, under the conditions of maximum temperature.
