This interesting idea was obtained in a 1982 documentation and can be used for special effects in recordings, sets, parties, etc. The idea is illustrated in the figure. It is a university notebook metal spring, which has one end attached to a guitar pickup, “finch” type, or even a phono pickup and is kept stretched so that it can vibrate. The phonocaptor or pickup is then connected to the input of an amplifier. Pulling the spring and releasing it or even hitting the spring, its vibration causes a sound like that of thunder. The author also suggests that between the pickup and the amplifier should be connected sound effects devices such as, for example, a Fuzz or even a shaky one. Another suggestion would be to combine, in a mixer, the sound of this device with the sound of "white noise" that would imitate the rain.
