The basis of this application is the integrated 74LSS73. An 8-bit word can pass from an input to an output without the need for storage. To record an 8-bit word in this RAM, apply the data to the input and momentarily bring the Follow pin to a high level. To remove the recorded information, take the SEND entry to the LO level.
