To obtain variable frequency signals, the circuit in the figure is recommended. In this circuit, the potentiometer P1 allows to adjust the frequency in the ratio of 1:10, which means that, with C1 of 1 nF, signals in the range of 500 to 5,000 Hz can be obtained. The value of C1 can be changed to obtain another range of operating frequencies. Likewise, grounding unused ports on other ports is convenient.
