Sound waves applied to the printed circuit board corrosion tank can speed up the process. The idea of this 1994 magazine project is to connect a loudspeaker connected to an oscillator to the corrosion tank to transmit its sound waves. The ideal frequency should be obtained experimentally by changing the capacitor on pins 2 and 6 of the 555, which can be between 100 nF and 3.3 uF. The supply can be done with voltages from 5 to 12 V and the power transistor must be equipped with a heat sink.
