The basis of this project is a three-position lever switch or similar. When the switch is in the central position, the green LED remains on and the outlet is without power. In position 3, the red LED lights up indicating that the socket is fully charged. In position 1, the green and yellow LEDs light up and the socket is in the waiting condition with half the available power. In this condition the iron is heated with less wear to the resistive element.
