The simple mixer presented can be used to mix the signals from low intensity sources, applying them to the input of an amplifier. It is a passive mixer, that is, it has no amplification steps, which means that the signal at the output is quite weak and needs to be applied to high-gain amplifiers or possibly amplifier circuits. Shielded wires must be used at the entrance and exit of the circuit so that no snoring occurs.
