This interesting circuit, found in a 1984 documentation, captures stations in the FM band and retransmits their signal in the AM band. The range is small but allows you to listen to FM on an AM radio located nearby. L1 has 4 turns of wire 22 to 26 in the form of 1 cm without core and L2 has 40 + 40 turns of wire 28 or 30 in a ferrite rod. XRF consists of 50 turns of wire 32 on a common toothpick.
