The receiver circuit LM567 recognizes the tone set on 555. The connection between the circuits can be made through a long wire. With this, projects like protection systems can be implemented. The supply must be made with voltages from 5 to 10 V and the circuit can be used as a shield in which case the tone is generated by a microcontroller.
