The frequency of this astable multivibrator depends not only on the capacitors, but also on the light that strikes a sensor. The sensor is a common LDR and the transistors can be the BC548. The circuit can function as a sound shield if the LDR forms an optical coupler with an LED controlled by a microcontroller.
