The circuit shown in figure 3 uses a programmable unijunction transistor (PUT) of the BRY39 type and can generate frequencies between a few hertz and a few hundred kilohertz. The power supply is 9 to 12 V and the trigger point and even linearity must be adjusted in trimpot P2. The frequency is set to P1.
