This source provides a 1.5V voltage used in the power supply of model aircraft spark plugs. The circuit is from a 1993 Italian magazine, but with the changes we made and exchange of some components for modern equivalents it can be assembled with ease even today. The Schottky diode supports equivalents. Q2 should be equipped with heat radiator and the input can either be a source of at least 2 A as a car battery.
