This two-transistor output stage source currents up to 100 mA to a load using the 2N3906, but can drive heavy loads with transistors such as the BD136 or TIP31. The circuit can be powered from 6 to 12 V supplies and Q2 must be mounted on a heatsink if current higher than 200 mA is sourced to the load.
The resistor R1 can be replaced by a loudspeaker IF the circuit is intend to be used with audio signals.
The soft senoide curve is the input signal and the high intensity pulses is the output signal.
