The circuit bellow uses two NPN transistor to drive heavy loads up to some amperes. The maximum current in the load depends on the transistor. With the 2N2222A the recommended current is up to 200 mA. Using the BD135 this current rises tro up to 500 mA and 1 A when using transistors such as the TIP31.
Q2 must be mounted on a heatsink IF current in the load is higher than 200 mA.
