This circuit is recommended by Texas Instruments in the datasheet of the TL317, equivalent to LM317, but the LM350 can also be used, consisting of a current-limiting charger. The transistor may be the BD135. The integrated circuit must be mounted on a heat radiator. The current is given by the 6.2 ohm resistor being around 100 mA in this case.
