This circuit was obtained from an American publication of 1982, but can be assembled with ease even today. Transistors must be mounted on excellent heatsinks. The power supply is ideal for automotive sound power or communication equipment on the bench. The 2N3790 can be replaced with high current equivalents such as 2N2995. Several changes have been made in the original circuit to make its assembly feasible with current components.
