Signals from 27 MHz to 150 MHz can be produced by this one-transistor oscillator. The frequency range depends on L1 and C2 according the table. The coil is formed by 2 to 6 turns of 22 to 26 AWG wire in a air core with 1 cm diameter. All capacitors must be ceramic. Equivalent transistor can be used such as the 2N2222.
