This small transmitter can act as a wireless microphone operating in the medium wave range, between 550 and 1,600 kHz. Range is about 5 m and the antenna is a telescopic type 40 to 80 cm long. The microphone is a piezoelectric type and details of the coil are given in the figure bellow. Power supply is formed by common cells or a 9 V battery.
