The coils of this simple mid-wave radius are wound 28 or 26 on a 12 to 30 cm long ferrite rod and the number of turns appears in the diagram. The feed is made by two batteries or source and the tuning is done by moving the coils on the core, because they must be wrapped in a cardboard tube on this core. The transformer is the type found on old transistor radios.
