This circuit was obtained from a 1977 magazine, but can still be mounted using BC548 for TR1 and BD135 for TR2. The lamp should be 6 V with or near 60 mA current. R2 should be obtained experimentally having values between 1k and 10k in common applications. Rx must also be obtained experimentally and its value will be between 10k and 470k.
