This circuit was obtained from a 1971 Electronics Hobbyist. The circuit can still be mounted using a BF245 for FET and a TIP41 for Q3. 2N2646 can still be found. The circuit consists of a relaxation oscillator with an amplifier and must be powered by a powerful 12 to 18 V battery or source.
