This circuit controls the temperature of heating elements, which may be lamps covered with light-blocking material in an electronic brooder. The lamp should be covered so that the light does not follow the hatching chicks. The circuit is powered by the power grid and the SCR must be equipped with a heat sink. The sensor placed in the brooder is an NTC.
