The integrated circuits used in this 1989 project are uncommon today, including the IF coil that can eventually be harnessed from a disused radio. The circuit has a commercial configuration of excellent sensitivity and selectivity. L1 has 4 turns of 8 mm coreless wire and L2 has 3 turns of the same 8 mm coreless wire.
