When the input is “1” the current flows in one direction by the load, and when the input is the current flows in the opposite direction. This circuit is ideal to drive LEDs or other loads that have polarity. Two opposite paralleled LEDs can be driven by this stage. The LED that will remain on dependent on the logic level applied to the input.
