This circuit is intend to be used with low impedance transducers like magnetic pick-ups for telephones, musical instrument transducers, dynamic microphones, etc. The circuit can be powered from 3 to 12 V supplies and current drain is very low. The input impedance is in the range between 3 and 300 Ω and output impedance is 10 k Ω. Simulation is shown bellow. Observe the adjustments for the function generator and oscilloscope to display the amplified signal. Function generator is adjusted to source a 1 kHz x 10 mV sine signal.
