Paranormal phenomena, aura, and others that such, can be studied with the help of the Kirlian Machine. It is a MAT generator (very high voltage) that applied to a special electrode highlights the "bioenergetic" field that exists around living creatures.
This field that becomes luminous under the effect of high voltage is known as "aura" and can be photographed with the aid of a common film placed next to the electrode itself. In figure 1 we have the circuit of the apparatus that produces a high voltage of the order of 10000 volts.
Great care must be taken when handling this appliance, in view of the existing high voltage.
The set point is set to P1.
The SCR must be the MCR106-6 or TIC106D, since other types do not oscillate with the same ease, and can frustrate the assembler. The resistor R1 is given with value for the network of 110 V, and in parentheses the value for the network of 220 V.
In figure 2 we have the assembly made in a terminal strip.
The T1 transformer is a standard white-black television fIyback, of any old type of the open type. The winding L1 is formed by 15 to 20 turns of common thread, made in the manner indicated in the figure itself.
The electrode is the most important element of this assembly. It consists of a copper plate that must be covered entirely by a sheet of glass. The glass sheet should be at least 5 cm larger in all dimensions to avoid the possibility of dangerous sparks.
The copper plate should be mounted on a base of insulation material, such as thick or even acrylic wood. The connection of this board to the flyback high voltage terminal at its top must be made with a special high voltage cable with insulation capable of supporting the 10 000 V or more present at this point.
To use the machine, one should look for dark environment. The object will be placed on the glass plate, and around it will appear a blue-green phosphorescence that is the "aura". The pattern of this aura depends on the object and its nature. A person's own hand may be supported at this point by adjusting P1 so that there is no danger of an unpleasant discharge.
Between the object and the glass plate can be placed a virgin photographic film to record the aura. The exposure time for each case must be obtained experimentally.
