Built in the popular D2PAK 7-lead surface-mount package, these UnitedSiC, available from Mouser Electronics, UF3SCxB7S SiC FETs are designed as a flexible drop-in replacement to Si IGBTs, Si FETs, SiC MOSFETs, or Si super-junction devices. These FETs feature the best-in-class switching speed, low switching losses, higher efficiency, standard thru-hole (including Kelvin), and surface mount packages. The UF3SCxB7S FETs are based on a unique cascode circuit configuration and offer ultralow gate charge and exceptional reverse recovery characteristics. This makes them ideal for switching inductive loads and any application requiring a standard gate drive. These FETs are available in the D2PAK-7L package.
