Microchip Technology LAN8770 100BASE-T1 Ethernet PHY Transceivers are compact, cost-effective, single-port devices compliant with the IEEE 802.3bw-2015 specification. The LAN8770 delivers 100Mbit/s transmit and receive capability over a single Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable, reinforcing cable lengths of up to at least 15m. The Microchip LAN8770 100BASE-T1 Ethernet PHY transceivers facilitate communication with an Ethernet MAC via standard MII/RMII/RGMII interfaces (RGMII LAN8770R only). Furthermore, an optional 125MHz or 50MHz reference clock output is equipped for RGMII and RMII applications. The LAN8770M delivers reverse MII mode with the capability to connect two PHYs back-to-back. An integrated SMI interface authorizes rapid register access and configuration.
