The load used in this experimental circuit is a small incandescent lamp but it can be replaced by a LED in series with a 330 to 560 ohm resistor. The time the lamp (or LED) remains on depends on C1. This capacitor can range from 100 µF to 1,000 µF. For LEDs the circuit can be powered from 6 to 12 V. For lamps, according the lamp voltage.
