The SN72741 integrated circuit is nothing more than the version of Texas Instruments of the known 741. 5 V Power corresponds to that required by the TTL logic and buffer as have the use of 7413. The circuit gain is given by the 100k resistor. The maximum speed of this circuit is about 100 kHz, but can be tested faster operational amplifiers. The photodiode must be equipped with optical resources according to the application. Note the necessity of using a symmetrical power supply.
