This circuit generates a 5.3 kHz linear ramp with the indicated components. The 7555 is the CMOS version of the 555 integrated circuit. The operational amplifier admits equivalent and must be supplied with a symmetrical source. The transistor can be the BC548 and the maximum frequency is determined by the characteristics of the 555.
