This circuit was obtained in an Electronque Loisirs magazine from France, in a July 1991 edition. It has a configuration to amplify very weak optical signals. The transistors can be the current equivalents BC547 and BC548 and the phototransistor can be of any type. The power is 24 V, but the consumption is very low.
