This circuit was obtained in a magazine Hands-On Electronics of June 1987. It is a circuit that indicates on an LED when a circuit is open. The SCR can be the TIC106 and power can be provided by 4 batteries (6 V) or battery (9 V). This circuit is used to test cables.
