This circuit is from a 1987 magazine, but it can still be easily assembled, as the components are common. The transformer is 5 A and the transistor can be BC547. The diodes are 5 A or more. The circuit deactivates the relay when the load voltage set in the pot is reached. The circuit is for car batteries.
