The oscillator shown in the figure emits sound when or another input is taken to a high level and can be connected to sequencing circuits like the 4017 or sensors of different types with TTL or CMOS activation. The circuit can also be powered with 5V. R1 and R2 can be changed to modify the sound. The circuit is from a book by Newton C. Braga.
