This configuration is very traditional, appearing in several publications around the world. This is from a 1978 American publication with Raytheon transistors that no longer exist. We can use BC548 for T1 and BC558 for T2. The supply can be made with voltages from 3 to 6 V and R1 can be a current pot of 470 k. C1 determines the sound and can be reduced to a higher pitch. Values between 47nF to 15uF can be used.
