We found this circuit in an old Argentine publication from 1973. It makes use of a large LDR (2.5 cm) of the high voltage type that can directly control a 10k relay for voltages between 48 and 120 V. The adjustment pot must be of 10k ohms (5W) wire. The transformer has a secondary winding of 117 or 127 V and can be eliminated if the circuit works on the 110 V network.
