This circuit uses LDRs as sensors and can either detect the incidence of light on the sensor or the light cut off on the sensor. Applications include twilight alarms and sensors and automatic lighting. The power supply must be done according to the relay and mode (a) or (b) of connecting the LDR determines the detection (light or shadow). The sensitivity adjustment is made in the potentiometers. Operational amplifiers or equivalent comparators can be used.
