This circuit uses common diodes as sensors, triggering when the temperature rises by touch, increasing the leakage current. Adjustment of the trigger point is made in the trimpot. As the diodes have a certain thermal inertia, the trip is not immediate. The transistor can be the BC548 and powered by a 9 V battery. See the pinout of the 741 in other projects on this website.
