This circuit is from 1977 Radio Shack documentation. The frequency depends on the capacitor. The circuit can generate from 0.5 Hz to 20 kHz. With 1 uF the frequency will be 3 800 Hz. The circuit must be powered by voltages from 6 to 12 V.
