This is the traditional configuration of a triac power switch, as shown in a 1976 technical documentation. The triac can be any of the TIC series with the current according to the load and the voltage according to the input. The current in the sensor is low. The trigger potentiometer R1 can be 220k of wire. The triac must be equipped with a heat radiator according to the controlled load.
