This circuit, found in an American publication from the 1970s, produces an audible tone in a speaker. It is a traditional configuration that produces rhythmic clicks on a small speaker and, at the same time, flashes an LED. The circuit can be powered by voltages from 6 to 9 V and the integrated circuit is traditional 555. Changes in values in the components are allowed. The 5 uF capacitor can be replaced with a 4.7 uF capacitor, which is the standard current value.
