We found this circuit in an old American documentation from the 70s. The Triac can be of any type in the TIC series, depending on the power of the load to be controlled. The circuit works on both the 110 V and 220 V network, just looking at the components that must be used. D1 can be 1N4002 and the secondary of the transformer is 100 mA or more.
