The circuit is Motorola's 1974 Unijunction Trigger Circuits for Gated Thyristor. A 2N2646 can be used and the SCR can be of the TIC series with current according to the controlled load. The zener diode is 20 V x 2 W. The SCR must be mounted on an appropriate heat sink.
