With this high voltage regulator, we can obtain 100 V outputs with currents up to 400 mA. The transistor is of the high power and high voltage type with a Vce of 175 V and a maximum collector current of 2 A. The transistor must be mounted on a good heat radiator. The zener is 100 V x 5 W and is responsible for fixing the input voltage.
